DR ANOOP RASTOGI B. MED, AHPRA MED0001145438
Dr Rastogi grew up in the humble beachside city of Newcastle and proudly graduated from the University of Newcastle Medical School in 1989, which led to the beginning of his medical career.
After serving his residency in Australia, he travelled abroad to complete his advanced training in cosmetic surgery.
The advanced training was under liposuction surgeon, Dr Georgio Fischer MD, Docteur Jean-Luc Bachelier in Paris and the then President of the European Academy for Cosmetic Surgery, Dr Anthony Erian, where Dr Rastogi trained at the Cosmetic Surgery units of Guys Hospital London, (Nuffield House) and the Cambridge Private Hospital.
Coming back home to Australia, Dr Rastogi set up his clinic in the heart of Double Bay, Sydney, seeing patients from across Australasia and around the globe.
Dr Rastogi is a fellow and the President of ACCSM (Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine), whose mandate is to raise standards and protect patients through advanced cosmetic surgery training and education.
Previously, for ACCSM, Dr Rastogi held many titles, such as the Vice President, Chairman of the Academic, member of the Ethics Subcommittee and the former Director of Training. Still to this day, Dr Rastogi continues his passion for teaching and education, training fellows of the ACCSM.
Additionally, Dr Rastogi was also an AHPRA surgical supervisor (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), and on the AMC Project Advisory Group (Australian Medical Council), which set the standards for cosmetic surgical training in Australia.
Throughout his 25 + years performing surgeries and holding many titles in the medical industry, Dr Rastogi remains dedicated to precision and attention to detail with a warm, caring, and gentle personality which is reflected in his surgeries and the way he cares for his patients.
